In Canterbury the Canterbury Kidz Kartz Club is very fortunate to have  Amanda Tomlinson, an Open Horseman, helping them with their programme.

Although Amanda is an extremely busy person, with many other commitments, she still somehow finds time to dedicate many hours helping the club,  and because of this we have chosen Amanda as our  first Volunteer of the Month.

Natalie Gameson, Education and Training Manager at Harness Racing New Zealand, said Amanda works “tirelessly and passionately,” for the Kidz Kartz programme.

“Her enthusiasm  is inspiring and very much appreciated by the whole Canterbury club. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. Without her help, support and energy the Canterbury Club would not be as successful as it is today.”
